Yes, thats what they are asking for. PLAY IS THE WORK OF CHILDREN. So when they play, they play with full heart and there may be lot of imperfections. But that does't mean they are ROWDIES..
They are all perfect in their own way. Tagging kids when they are very small will not only ruin the tagged child but also the child who is hearing it when you are tagging them.
Today one parent came to me and told that she doesn't want her child to be in the class of TWO ROWDIES and she wants her son to be in a different class. I was thinking of the poor fate of those three boys.
The fate of two boys who are being tagged from such small age, who doesn't even know the meaning of rowdies, who doesn't even know that many people are tagging them, who doesn't even know that the tag is going to spread everywhere and many more people are going to tag them.
The other boy whose fate I am worried the most is her own son, who is learning from his own parents that everyone has to be tagged with bad names if they are doing something wrong, who is learning that you should start hating your friends if they are a little more playful with you, who is learning that we should start seeing bad in everything in our early childhood itself, who is learning that life is too complicated out there.
Is this the way we have to bloom our tiny buds instead of embedding love and care for everyone in this world???.
